Tattoo makeup… What a great theory. If there is one thing women obsess about is how their makeup looks. Unbelievable amounts of money is spent on ladies enhancing there facial features with makeup. This remarkable idea of tattooing makeup, believe it or not, has been a reality for over 20 years. Yes, millions of women are running to get their brows, eyeliner and lips permanently colored. Many doctors, salons, and day spas are now offering this service The new generation of tattoo salons/parlors bring the perfect fit for the application of permanent make-up by tattooing techniques already in place.
Why the Tattooing Industry?
Well, one may ask why the tattoo industry? They are not traditional makeup artists, in one sense, but the reality is the skill and precision of the two technologies goes hand in hand.
I have been in the field of tattooing makeup for 15 years and have
experience problems that arise when even so called “Makeup Artists” take
on the new profession of tattooing makeup.
Really the bottom line is mastering the technique with the machine itself,
knowing how to make a procedure look natural verses just drawn on. Now having
said that, just as important attribute of tattooing makeup is knowing or learning
how to enhance a person’s brows, eyeliner and lips with a nice shape
and color. A cosmetic tattoo artist must be creative and have an eye
for that natural look that most ladies are looking for in there permanent makeup.
This is a learning process for any one taking on this fabulous career!!
