Jump starting a new product, you are starting to carry, is always a good idea. Having a 10 year back ground in sales and marketing before I took on the new career of being a cosmetic tattoo artist, has always been a plus for me. I want to share a few of my ideas for anyone adding mine or any products to their inventory.
The fastest and easiest way of advertising
Collect all the email address from as many clients as you can! With just one click on your computer you can let all your clients know “what’s new and what’s on special.” Any advertisement can be made in to a beautiful picture that will usually appear when an email is open.
If you look at most of my product pages they are simply duplicates of my flier or a brochure on a specific product. There are usually a few ways they can be saved on a computer. One is a PDF, which is good for printing and the other, JPEG, which has the advantage when a picture needs to be included in an email, that you can size just perfect for that, and also usually used for a web sites art work.I will be happy to email you what ever you need to let all your customers know that you are right on top of things with new updates and exciting product releases.
Another great way to collect lots of e-mail addresses are when you do trade shows. You can even give out a free gift to anyone that fills out a reference card. A gift can be as simple as pen with your name on it, or a discount coupon towards future products
Selling products as a set or multiples can generate more money!
Many products can be sold as a set or in multiples. Always presenting a way for the consumer to save money is a plus for them and yourself in the long run. Every owners goal is always to make each sale as high dollar as possible. So if a person has the initial attention just to buy what they can get by with it is a great idea to offer incentives to make them “step up” which in turn of course raises the your gross sales. This is where the multiple or group specials come in handy which brings us to my books and DVDs. These, too, sell very well as a set. Some of my largest distributors sell the books and DVDs as a set of four for $119.95 that gives the consumer a savings of $20.
